Capture the breath
The disposable sensor detects thermal changes in spontaneous breathing. Linshom describes placement within a mask, cannula or another delivery device.

The technology
A thermal sensor measures temperature changes during inhalation and exhalation to capture a continuous respiratory signature.

How it works
The disposable sensor detects thermal changes in spontaneous breathing. Linshom describes placement within a mask, cannula or another delivery device.
A control unit processes the respiratory signature captured by the sensor.
The monitor presents the breathing signal alongside respiratory rate, time since the last breath and relative tidal volume information.
What the system reports
The number of breaths over time, reported continuously from the respiratory signature.
An explanation of the signal, not a live patient display.
Clinical context
CPRMS measurements are an adjunct to other clinical information. The cleared use is for healthcare professionals monitoring adult patients aged 22 or older in healthcare facilities.
